Route from Olivares
The ascent of the route of the Camino Mozárabe from Olivares to Moclin is steep in places, exposed, and hot. We advise you to ensure you are carrying sufficient water. There is tap located on the right just past Cafe Bar Los Martinez in Olivares.
Casa la Cabra is located 200m from the end of the Camino, as you enter the village of Moclin. At the end of the concrete road, turn immediately left, and then right onto Calle Al Andalus. Casa la Cabra is the third house on the left.
Route from Moclin
Go up the hill on Calle Al Andalus. Turn right at the end of the road and then left. You are now on the Camino Mozárabe. The route exits the village onto a rough track to the right of Hostal Rural.
Shop opening times
There is a small convenience store in Moclin. It is only open on weekday mornings; closing at 13:30. If you intend preparing meals, we advise you to visit the Autoservicio Merida Sur – Coviran Olivares as you pass through Olivares. It is a large and well-stocked shop!
